was the 8th Russian Super Cup match, a association football, football match which was contested between the 2009 Russian Premier League champion, FC Rubin Kazan, Rubin Kazan, and the winner of 2008–09 Russian Cup, PFC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow. The match was held on 7 March 2010 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Rubin Kazan beat CSKA Moscow 1–0, to win their first Russian Super Cup.

Fatih Tekke
Fatih Tekke (born 9 September 1977), known by his ''given nickname'' Sultan, is a Turkish football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Trabzonspor. He started his professional career at Trabzonspor and later played for Altay, Gaziantepspor, Zenit, and Beşiktaş. He achieved recognition as the top scorer in the Süper Lig during the 2004–05 season. Gökdeniz Karadeniz (born 11 January 1980) is a Turkish professional football coach and a former player who played as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, making over 250 appearances each for Turkish club Trabzonspor and Russian club Rubin Kazan. Hasan Salih Kabze (born 26 May 1982) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a striker.
