James Hepworth (born 10 June 1975) is an English professional golfer. Hepworth was born in Harrogate, Yorkshire. He turned professional in 1997 and played on the Challenge Tour The Challenge Tour is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. Matt Allen (golfer)
Matt Allen (born October 23, 1977) is a former American football punter in the National Football League (NFL). Allen played college football at Troy State and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2002. He played for one season with Falcons and New York Giants. Early life Allen played football, basketball, and baseball for Calvary Christian Academy. College career Allen played for Troy State University. NFL career Before joining the Giants, Allen played for the Atlanta Falcons in the preseason. In his lone NFL season, Allen had 63 punts for 2,326 yards with 2,045 net yards and an average 36.9 yards per punt. He is infamously known for attempting a pass to Rich Seubert after a botched snap from Trey Junkin on a field goal attempt to win the game on the last play of the Giants- 49ers NFC Wildcard game on January 5, 2003. James Busby (golfer)
James Busby (7 February 1802 – 15 July 1871) was the British Resident in New Zealand from 1833 to 1840. He was involved in drafting the 1835 Declaration of the Independence of New Zealand and the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi. The 2011 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2011 season. James Heath (golfer)
James Joseph Heath (born 17 March 1983) is an English professional golfer. Heath was born in London. He started playing golf with his father at the age of ten. Having played in the Faldo Junior Series, he went on to a successful amateur career, highlighted by winning the English Amateur and Lytham Trophy, where he broke the previous scoring record by 10 strokes, in 2004. He turned professional at the end of that year. Having played in three tournaments on the European tour as an amateur in 2004, Heath joined the second tier Challenge Tour in 2005, and was moderately successful in his first season, finishing 23rd on the end of season rankings. Having failed to come through qualifying school at the end of the year, he was again playing on the second tier in 2006. Paul Michael Maddy (born 17 August 1962) is a Welsh retired professional footballer who played in Football League, most notably for Hereford United as a midfielder. He also played League football for Cardiff City, Brentford, Chester City and was capped by Wales at U21 level. Club career A midfielder, Maddy was a product of the Cardiff City youth system and made 43 appearances and scored three goals for the club. Zane Scotland
Zane Leo Scotland (born 17 July 1982) is an English professional golfer. Scotland was born in Manchester and educated at The John Fisher School in Surrey. In 1997 he won a competition to find a British Tiger Woods. He went on to have a successful amateur career, winning several tournaments and gaining many representative honours, in addition to becoming the youngest English player ever to qualify for The Open Championship in 1999. He turned professional in 2003 but a car crash that resulted in an injury to his neck severely affected his early career. Nicholas John McCarthy (born 13 December 1974) is an English-German musician. His main focus is on songwriting and song production. He is also a guitarist, singer and keyboard player. McCarthy was the rhythm guitarist, backing/lead vocalist, and keyboardist of the Glasgow-based band Franz Ferdinand until 2016. Life McCarthy was born in Blackpool, England. Gary P. Wolstenholme MBE (born 21 August 1960) is an English professional golfer, known for his long amateur career, who now plays on the European Senior Tour. Wolstenholme was born in Egham, Surrey. His father was Guy Wolstenholme a professional golfer. He has won The Amateur Championship twice (1991, 2003) as well as many other amateur tournaments around the world. He has played on six Walker Cup teams and is the all-time points leader for the Great Britain and Ireland side. In September 2008, at the age of 48, Wolstenholme turned professional in anticipation of playing senior professional golf in 2010. He attempted to qualify for the European Tour through qualifying school, but failed to advance past the first stage. Galgorm Castle Northern Ireland Open
The Northern Ireland Open is a golf tournament formerly played on the Challenge Tour. It was played for the first time in June 2010 on the PGA EuroPro Tour at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. It now features on the Clutch Pro Tour schedule. History In 2017, the event was changed from 72 holes of stroke play to a "Super 6" style format. The format was similar to that used for the World Super 6 Perth. The main difference was that the 6-hole matches were determined by stroke play rather than match play. It retained the 156-player field, with the cut being made at the top-60 and ties after 36 holes. After 54 holes, the field was cut to a fixed 24. Ties for 24th place were determined by a sudden-death playoff. There were then five six-hole knock-out rounds on the final day.
