2010 MuchMusic Video Awards
The 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards were held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at MuchMusic's headquarters on 20 June 2010. Along with the MuchMusic VJ's, it was confirmed on the MuchMusic website that Miley Cyrus will co-host the show. The artists with the most nominations are Drake and Hedley with six. For the 1st time since 2001, Fuse televised the ''MMVAs'' in the United States. Hedley and Justin Bieber tied for most wins at the ''2010 MMVAs'' with 3 wins each. 299 Queen Street West, also known as Bell Media Queen Street or Bell Media Studios, is the headquarters of the television/radio broadcast hub of Bell Canada's media unit, Bell Media, and is located at the intersection of Queen Street West and John Street in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. "Devil on My Shoulder" is the second official single by Canadian band Billy Talent from their third album, ''Billy Talent III''. It was released as a single on August 26, 2009. It was the second song to be debuted live from the third album before the album's release, after "Turn Your Back". The B-side to the CD single is a previously unreleased song entitled "Don't Need to Pretend", which was previously available only as a limited bonus track through purchasing ''Billy Talent III'' online through the German site ''Musicload.de''. The song was featured as one of the theme songs for Hell in a Cell (2018) PPV. Lights Valerie Anne Poxleitner-Bokan (born Valerie Anne Poxleitner; April 11, 1987), known Mononymous person, mononymously as Lights (previously stylized in all caps), is a Canadian musician, singer, comic book author and artist, and songwriter. IllScarlett
IllScarlett (styled as illScarlett; ) is a Canadian rock and reggae band formed in 2001. Their most prominent influence is California-based band Sublime. The band found their break when they set up their equipment (using a generator) and played for concertgoers waiting in line to enter the 2004 Vans Warped Tour venue in Barrie, Ontario. Kevin Lyman, the Warped Tour organizer and co-owner of Warcon Enterprises, noticed them and invited them to play at his personal barbecue. Subsequently, they were offered spots on the tour for the following two years. Moka Only
Daniel Denton (born November 14, 1973), better known by his stage name Moka Only, is a Canadian hip hop artist and producer . He is originally from Langford, British Columbia, where he cultivated a deep passion for hip hop. Later, moving to San Diego to progress his career. In his late teens, he started out as a graffiti artist before switching to music. In 1995, along with Madchild and Prevail, the trio formed the hip hop group Swollen Members, Moka conceiving the name. Though, he left soon after to pursue solo efforts (eventually joining again shortly in the early 2000s). As a part of the group, he won three JUNO Awards, five MuchMusic Video Awards, and was nominated for 11 Western Canadian Music Awards. Kareem Blake (born March 27, 1975), better known by his stage name Choclair, is a Canadian rapper. He was one of the most successful rappers in Canada in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Choclair has been nominated for six Juno Awards, winning four. Career Blake, of Jamaican descent, was born in Scarborough, Ontario, in east Toronto. Starting at the age of 11, he followed in his older brother's footsteps, and decided to become a rapper. Luke Boyd (born December 13, 1977), better known by his stage name Classified, is a Canadian rapper and record producer from Enfield, Nova Scotia. Musical career 1995–2004: Early beginnings Boyd attended Hants East Rural High School in Milford Station, Nova Scotia. He started his own production label, Half Life Records, and released his first full-length LP titled ''Time's Up, Kid'' in 1995. "I'd Come for You" is the second European single (fourth in Canada) from Nickelback's 2008 album ''Dark Horse''. The song was written by the band and Mutt Lange. It was released March 23, 2009. " If Today Was Your Last Day" served as the third single instead in North America (after " Gotta Be Somebody" and the rock radio-only single " Something in Your Mouth"). Lyrically the song is emotional and not sexual, as some originally inferred from the title.
