2010 IRB Pacific Nations Cup
The 2010 Pacific Nations Cup was a rugby union tournament held between four national sides on the Pacific Rim: Fiji, Japan, Samoa and Tonga. The competition was won by Samoa. The Junior All Blacks, the defending title holder, decided not to take part in this year's competition. The inaugural competition was held in 2006. This year the tournament began on June 12 and ended on June 26, 2010, with most of the matches hosted by Samoa. Aukusitino Junior Poluleuligaga (born 5 February 1981) is a Samoan rugby union international player. He previously played for Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiers before returning to Auckland and played two years with Auckland rugby union team before retiring 2015. David Lemi (born 10 February 1982) is a professional rugby player who plays on the wing for Rouen. Weighing 75 kg and only 1.75m tall, he is one of the smaller professional rugby players. However, his electric pace and low centre of gravity enabled him to be the 2nd highest Premiership try scorer for the 2005-06 season; and top scorer in the 2006-07 season. George Pisi (born 29 June 1986 in Apia, Samoa) is a rugby union player for Samoa who will leave his current club Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership at the conclusion of the 2016/17 season. Pisi was born in Samoa but moved to Auckland in New Zealand aged 3 with his family. He went to West Harbour Primary School and Massey High School where captained their rugby team, and represented New Zealand Schools. Pisi made his provincial debut playing for North Harbour in 2005 alongside his elder brother Tusi Pisi. He made 50 appearances for North Harbour before transferring to Taranaki for the 2010 ITM Cup.
