2010 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup
The 2010 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup was the twelfth season of the FIM Superstock 1000 championship, the sixth held under this name. The FIM Superstock 1000 championship followed the same calendar as the Superbike World Championship, with the exception that it did not venture outside of Europe, leaving the schedule at ten rounds. BMW joined the Superstock grid to bolster the regular manufacturers, and eventually claimed the riders' championship with Ayrton Badovini and the manufacturers' championship as well. 2010 Superbike World Championship
The 2010 Superbike World Championship (officially known as the HANNspree SBK Superbike World Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the twenty-third season of the Superbike World Championship. It was the third season in which HANNspree had been the title sponsor of the championship. After Leon Haslam's retirement during the second race at Imola, Max Biaggi became the first Italian winner of the championship, and also claimed the first title by an Aprilia rider. Race calendar and results The provisional 2010 race schedule was publicly announced by Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM on 6 October 2009 with the most notable change from the 2009 Superbike World Championship, 2009 season being the dropping of the round at Losail International Circuit, Losail, Qatar. Masaryk Circuit
The Masaryk circuit () or Masarykring, also referred to as the Brno Circuit, refers to two motorsport race tracks located in Brno, Czech Republic. The original street circuit was made up of public roads, and at its longest measured . The track is named after the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. In 1949, events such as the Czechoslovakian Grand Prix attracted top teams and drivers. In 1987, the new (current) circuit was opened. The Aprilia RSV4 is a super bike manufactured by Aprilia. The RSV4 is Aprilia's flagship model. Aprilia offers two models of the bike: the RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R limited edition (only 350). For 2016 it is offered in two models the RSV4 RR and RSV4 RF. The 2016 updated bike was made to take advantage of and comply with that year's Superbike rules which allow fewer modifications for production bikes. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle and Scooter (motorcycle), scooter manufacturer in Noale, Italy, founded by Alberto Beggio. History Early days Aprilia, named after the Pre-war automobile, pre-war Lancia Aprilia, was founded after the Second World War by Cavaliere Alberto Beggio as a bicycle production factory at Noale, Italy, in the province of Venice. Circuit De Nevers Magny-Cours
Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a motor racing circuit located in central France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, some from Paris and from Lyon. It staged the Formula One French Grand Prix from 1991 (succeeding Circuit Paul Ricard) to 2008, and the 24-hour Bol d'Or motorcycle endurance events from 2000 to 2014 (succeeded by Circuit Paul Ricard). Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury.
