The 2010 All-Big Ten Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All- Big Ten Conference players for the 2010 Big Ten Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big Ten selectors: (1) the Big Ten conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big Ten also selected offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Media" team). 2010 Big Ten Conference Football Season
The 2010 Big Ten Conference football season was the 115th season for the Big Ten. The conference started its season on Thursday, September 2, as conference member Minnesota traveled to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to face Middle Tennessee, and Ohio State hosted the Thundering Herd of Marshall. The conference’s other 9 teams began their respective 2010 season of NCAA Division I FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) competition on Saturday, September 4. It was also the final season for the conference before the Nebraska Cornhuskers joined the conference from the Big 12 the following season. Preseason After a 2010 NFL Draft, which saw 34 Big Ten athletes selected, 12 2009 first-team All-Big Ten selections, 8 second-team selections and 33 honorable mention selections returned for the 2010 season. Tandon Doss
Tandon Mic Doss (born September 22, 1989) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football for the Indiana University Hoosiers. He graduated in the class of 2008 from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Doss was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. College career 2008 season In his freshman season, Doss played in just 8 games, recording 14 receptions for 189 yards with a touchdown. 2009 season In his sophomore season, Doss started all 12 regular season games, recording 77 receptions for 962 yards and 5 touchdowns. Riley Reiff (born December 1, 1988) is an American football offensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the first round, 23rd overall of the 2012 NFL Draft. Gabriel Andrew Carimi ( ; born June 13, 1988) is a former American football guard. Carimi had 49 starts at left tackle in his four-year Wisconsin Badgers college career, which culminated at the 2011 Rose Bowl. He was awarded the 2010 Outland Trophy, as the nation's top collegiate interior lineman. He was also a unanimous All-American, and the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year. David Molk
David Michael Molk (born December 15, 1988) is a former American football center. Molk previously played college football at the same position for University of Michigan, where he was a consensus All-American and won the 2011 Rimington Trophy as the best center in college football. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Diego Chargers. Molk grew up in the Chicago area and played high school football at Lemont Township High School.
