200th Independent Motor Rifle Brigade
The 71st Guards Motor Rifle Pechenga Order of Kutuzov Division () is a Russian Armed Forces formation of the 14th Army Corps, part of the Leningrad Military District, based at Pechenga in Murmansk Oblast. The division was formed from the 200th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade in 2025, which was formed from the 131st Motor Rifle Division in 1997. In 2014, brigade units participated in the War in Donbas. In 2022, brigade units participated in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. History Formation The 200th Brigade was formed from the former 131st Motor Rifle Division in 1997. It inherited the honorifics "Pechenga Order of Kutuzov" from the division. Luhansk International Airport (; ) was an airport in Luhansk, Ukraine . The airport was located 20 km (12 miles) south of the city center, 9 km to the city limit. The Northern Fleet Joint Strategic Command (), was a military district of the Russian Armed Forces, with its jurisdiction primarily within the northern region of European Russia and the Arctic Ocean. The Northern Fleet Joint Strategic Command was the third largest military-administered district by geographic size.
