2009–10 Professional Arena Soccer League Season
2009–10 Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro) season is the second season for the league. The schedule was announced in September 2009. The season kicked off on Friday November 13, when the expansion Louisville Lightning hosted the 1790 Cincinnati Express. Standings As of March 8, 2010 (Bold indicates Division Winner) * La Raza de Guadalajara defeated Sidekicks del Estado de Mexico in a shootout in the 2009-10 LMFR Finals on January 30. The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) is a professional indoor soccer league in North America. The MASL features teams playing coast-to-coast in the United States and Mexico. The league is the highest level of arena soccer in North America. The league draws talent from a global talent pool with players from Major League Soccer (MLS), Liga MX, and many national teams. With a new management team, the league has grown in popularity and commercially. Former USMNT and MLS star Landon Donovan played in the MASL, as do multiple international players. Brian Farber
Brian Farber (born April 15, 1982, in Sandpoint, Idaho) is an American association football, soccer player who played as a midfielder for the San Diego Sockers (2009-2024), San Diego Sockers of the Major Arena Soccer League. Career College Farber won the Idaho State Soccer Player of the Year award in 2000 before playing College soccer in the United States, college soccer at North Idaho College, where he remains the school's career record-holder for points. Paul Wright (born July 29, 1969, in London, England) is a U.S. soccer forward who spent most of his career in the U.S. indoor leagues. He began his career with the San Diego Nomads in the Western Soccer Alliance, led the American Professional Soccer League in scoring in 1994 and played four seasons with the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer. Allen Eller
Allen Eller (December 11, 1976 – November 4, 2016) was an American soccer player who most recently played for the Cleveland Freeze in the PASL. Biography Eller attended the University of Akron, playing on the men's soccer team from 1995 to 1998. In 1999, Eller turned professional with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL A-League. In the fall, Eller moved indoors with the Cleveland Crunch of the National Professional Soccer League. In 2001, Eller did not play the outdoor season, but in February 2002, he signed with the Harrisburg Heat for the second Major Indoor Soccer League. He finished the season with the Heat. On January 31, 2003, the Heat traded Kyle Swords and Eller to the Baltimore Blast for Gino DiFlorio. The Blast won the 2003 and 2004 league titles. Daniel Antoniuk (born January 23, 1981, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American soccer player who last played for the Tacoma Stars in the Major Arena Soccer League. The San Diego Sockers are an American professional indoor soccer team based in San Diego County, California, that competes in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). The team plays its home games at Frontwave Arena. The Sockers began play in the 2009–2010 season.
