TVL Premier League
Port Vila Football League (also known as the Digicel League, or simply Digicel Premier League) is the top division football league in Port Vila, Vanuatu. It consists of three competitions: Port Vila Premier League, Port Vila First Division and the Port Vila Second Division. The league's domestic cup is the Port Vila FA Cup, in which all 3 divisions compete in. The Port Vila Premier League is considered to be the best football league in Vanuatu while the Port Vila Football Association is considered to be the main football association in Vanuatu. The top 4 of the Port Vila Premier League qualifies for the #Top Four Super League, PVFA top four competition, and the winner of that competition is one of the two teams that takes part for Vanuatu in the OFC Champions League. 2010–11 OFC Champions League
The 2010–11 OFC Champions League, also known as the 2011 O-League for short, was the 10th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 5th season under the current OFC Champions League name. It was contested by eight teams from seven countries. The teams were split into two four-team pools, the winner of each pool contesting the title of O-League Champion and the right to represent the OFC at the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup. Teouma Academy
Teouma is a major archaeological site from Teouma Bay on the island of Éfaté in Vanuatu. The site contains the oldest known cemetery within the Pacific Islands, and has been important in the gathering of information relating to the Lapita people of the ninth and tenth centuries BC. Archaeology In late 2003, 26 inhumations consisting of 36 individuals were found in the largest-known cemetery located on the south coast of Éfaté Island in Vanuatu in the Pacific. The cemetery is thought to be between approximately 3200 and 3000 years old. A common feature of these burials is the presence of red pottery fragments bearing intricate designs. These individuals were buried in various positions. One consistent feature of the burials was the removal of the skull, following the decomposition of the periodontal ligaments. Tafea is the southernmost of the six provinces of Vanuatu. The name is an acronym for the five main islands that make up the province: Tanna, Aneityum, Futuna, Erromango and Aniwa.
