During the 2009–10 season, Partick Thistle F.C., Partick Thistle participated in the Scottish Football League First Division, Scottish First Division, having finished in 2nd place the 2008–09 Partick Thistle F.C. season, previous season. Team kit The team kit for the 2009–10 season will be produced by Puma AG, Puma in partnership with Greaves Sports and the main shirt sponsor will be Ignis Asset Management as per 2008–09 Partick Thistle F.C. season, season 2008–09. The home kit will be the same as season 2008–09 and the away is a silver, black & pink camouflage design with black sleeves. A Centenary top was also announced to mark Thistle's 100th year at Firhill Stadium, to be worn against Dunfermline Athletic in the league match closest to the first ever game at the ground. Partick (, Scottish Gaelic: ''Partaig'') is an area of Glasgow on the north bank of the River Clyde, just across from Govan. To the west lies Whiteinch, to the east Yorkhill and Kelvingrove Park (across the River Kelvin), and to the north Broomhill, Hyndland, Dowanhill, Hillhead, areas which form part of the West End of Glasgow. Patrick Joseph Gerard Boyle (born 20 March 1987) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a left-back. He is player/assistant manager at Gartcairn in the West of Scotland football league after rejecting a new contract at Dumbarton. Boyle represented Scotland at under-19 level and has previously played for Everton, Norwich City, Crewe Alexandra, Dumbarton, Partick Thistle Clyde, Dunfermline Athletic, Gateshead, Airdrieonians, Ayr United, Peterhead and Kelty Hearts. Bryan Hodge
Bryan Johnstone Hodge (born 23 September 1987) is a Scottish former footballer. Hodge is a versatile midfielder who has represented Scotland at under-17, under-18, under-19 and under-20 levels. He started his career at Blackburn Rovers and in his time there had loan spells at Mansfield Town, Millwall and Darlington. He then returned to Scotland, signing for Partick Thistle, and from there moved to Brechin City and then Stenhousemuir. Chris Erskine
Chris Erskine (born 8 February 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for West of Scotland League club St Cadoc's. He is most associated for his various spells with Partick Thistle. He has also previously played for junior side Kilbirnie Ladeside where he began his career, Dundee United, Livingston and East Kilbride. Early life Erskine was born in Rutherglen. Mark Corcoran
Mark Corcoran (born 30 November 1980) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played for Hamilton Academical, St Mirren, Partick Thistle, Ross County, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer. He played in midfield, left wing and in attack. Career Corcoran began his career at junior side Tayport before moving to Linlithgow Rose. Corcoran, who previously played for Hamilton Academical joined St Mirren in 2005 on a free transfer. Paul Cairney (born 29 August 1987) is a Scottish footballer, who plays as a midfielder. Cairney has previously played for Queen's Park, Partick Thistle, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, Stranraer, Ayr United, Peterhead and Albion Rovers. Career Born in Glasgow, Cairney was registered with St Mirren as a youth player, but was released by the club aged 17. Jamie Adams
Jamie Adams (born 26 August 1987 in Stranraer) is a Scottish former footballer. Club career Kilmarnock Adams was a product of Kilmarnock's youth system, signing for the club in the summer of 2004. He was loaned to Queen of the South as part of a deal in which Kilmarnock signed Queen's Willie Gibson in January 2007. While with Queen of the South he was involved in a controversial event, which later resulted in the Dumfries club being fined by the Scottish Football Association.
