The División de Honor Femenina de Balonmano, Liga ABF 2009–10 was the 53rd season of women's handball top flight in Spain since its establishment, running from 12 September 2010 to 15 May 2010. División de Honor Femenina de Balonmano or Liga Guerreras Iberdrola, named after the sponsorship of Iberdrola, is the premier women's professional handball league in Spain, administered by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM). It was established in 1952, and it is currently contested by twelve teams. The 4 last ranked teams are relegated to División de Honor Oro Femenina, a league newly created for the 2022-2023 season. For a long time, the 2nd level of the Spanish women's handball pyramid was División de Plata (the 3rd level as of now). CB Amadeo Tortajada
Club Balonmano Amadeo Tortajada was a handball team from Mislata, Valencia. Founded in 1975 in the Amadeo Tortajada school in Mislata, the team was better known for its sponsorship names: Constructora Estellés, Valencia Urbana, Ferrobús Mislata and lastly Cementos La Unión Ribarroja. Under the latter the team was relocated in 2004 to Riba-roja de Túria. Amadeo Tortajada was one of the leading Spanish teams, winning two national championships in 2006 and 2007, and five national cups between 1990 and 2006.
