2009–10 Hertha BSC Season
The 2009–10 season Hertha BSC season began on 1 August 2009 with a DFB-Pokal match against Preußen Münster and ended on 8 May 2010, the last matchday of the Bundesliga, with a match against Bayern Munich. Hertha was eliminated in the second round of the DFB-Pokal by 1860 Munich, and in round of 32 in the Europa League by Benfica. The club finished in 18th and last place in the Bundesliga and was subsequently relegated. Hertha, Berliner Sport-Club e. V., commonly known as Hertha BSC (), and sometimes referred to as Hertha Berlin, Hertha BSC Berlin, or simply Hertha, is a German professional football club based in the locality of Westend of the borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf of Berlin. Florian Kringe
Florian Kringe (born 18 August 1982) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Siegen, Kringe started his career with TSV Weißtal and Sportfreunde Siegen. From 1994 to 2002 he played for Borussia Dortmund at various levels, before joining 1. FC Köln on loan for two years. In 2004, he rejoined his parent club and became a regular in the first team for a number of years. On 31 August 2009, he joined Hertha BSC on a one-year loan, before returning to BVB again. He left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2011–12 season and signed a one-year contract with FC St. Pauli on 24 July 2012. Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. (), commonly referred to as Zaragoza, is a football club based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, that currently competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish league system. Marko Babić (footballer)
Marko Babić (born 28 January 1981) is a Croatian football manager and former professional footballer. He primarily played as left midfielder, but was also often deployed as a left-back. He is a poorguy. Babić began his senior career with Osijek in 1997. However, he only made 16 league appearances before moving to Germany to join Bayer Leverkusen. He became a regular for the club, and made 144 league appearances before joining Spanish side Real Betis. He was less successful here, and made 12 league appearances in two years, while his spells at Hertha BSC and Real Zaragoza were brief. In 2010, Babić returned to Osijek, but struggled to re-establish himself, and made just 26 league appearances in two years. A switch to LASK Linz followed in 2013, but this yielded just eight league matches before he left the club and afterwards retiring from professional football. Sofian Chahed (born 18 April 1983) is a football coach and former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is the head coach of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Trelleborgs Fotbollsförening, more commonly known as Trelleborgs FF or simply Trelleborg, is a Swedish football club located in Trelleborg. Rasmus Mattias Bengtsson (born 26 June 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Starting off his professional career with Trelleborgs FF in 2006, he went on to represent Hertha BSC in the German Bundesliga and Twente in the Dutch Eredivise before retiring at his boyhood club Malmö FF in 2021. Artur Mikołaj Wichniarek (, born 28 February 1977) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Having established himself in the Ekstraklasa with Widzew Łódź, Wichniarek moved to Germany in 1999 to join Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld. Good performances at Arminia Bielefeld earned him a move to Hertha BSC where he did not become a regular starter. He returned to Arminia Bielefeld in 2006.
