The 2009 Ritro Slovak Open was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the tenth edition of the tournament which was part of Tretorn Serie+ of the 2009 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Bratislava, Slovakia between 16 and 22 November 2009. Tennis Court
A tennis court is the venue where the sport of tennis is played. It is a firm rectangular surface with a low net stretched across the centre. The same surface can be used to play both Types of tennis match, doubles and singles matches. Stefan Koubek
Stefan Koubek (born 2 January 1977) is a retired tennis player from Austria. Koubek played left-handed with a double-handed backhand. His idol when growing up was Thomas Muster. Koubek won three titles, two of which came on hardcourts; despite this, he said his favorite surface was clay. Koubek reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 Australian Open and the 2002 Hamburg Masters, attaining a career-high singles ranking of World No. 20 in March 2000. Koubek tested positive for glucocorticosteroids at the 2004 French Open after receiving an injection for an injured wrist; he was subsequently suspended for three months. Lucky Loser
A lucky loser is a sports competitor (player or team) who loses a match in a knockout tournament or loses in qualifying, but who then enters the main draw. This can occur when another competitor withdraws during the tournament because of illness, injury, or other reasons, in which case the lucky loser re-enters the competition in place of the withdrawn competitor, or due to the structure of the tournament. Michał Przysiężny
Michał Przysiężny (; born 16 February 1984) is a former Polish professional tennis player. He reached the semifinals of St. Petersburg in 2013, achieving a career-high singles ranking of World No. 57 in January 2014. Career He started his career in the KKT Wrocław. In 2002 Przysiężny reached the semifinals of the boys' doubles at the French Open (partnered with Attila Balázs from Hungary). Juho Paukku (born 19 July 1986) is a professional Finnish tennis player. Paukku reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on 17 January 2011, when he became world No. 379.
