2009 Survivor Series
The 2009 Survivor Series was the 23rd annual Survivor Series professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brand divisions. The event took place on November 22, 2009, at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. It was the final Survivor Series to feature the ECW brand. The card comprised six matches. There were two matches that were deemed the main events of the program. The first was the triple threat match involving The Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship successfully against both halves of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show. This was also followed by the other main event: another triple-threat match with John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Triple H and Shawn Michaels. D-Generation X (DX), is an American professional wrestling Glossary of professional wrestling terms#Stable, stable, and later a tag team, who consisted of various members mostly Generation X wrestlers, most notably Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna, Sean Waltman, X-Pac, and the New Age Outlaws, a tag team consisting of Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.
