2009 Pan American Race Walking Cup
The 2009 Pan American Race Walking Cup was held in San Salvador, El Salvador on 1–2 May. The track of the Cup runs in the Boulevard del Hipódromo, Zona Rosa. A detailed report was given by Javier Clavelo Robinson. However, because of visa problems, the majority (namely 11 out of 13) of the Ecuadorian athletes was not allowed to enter the country. David Mejía Hernández (born December 7, 1986, in Toluca) is a Mexican race walker. He set his personal best time of 1:22:36, by finishing third in the men's 20 km at the 2011 IAAF Race Walking Challenge in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Adrián "Adri" Herrera González (born 3 January 1999) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Palencia as a forward. Pedro Daniel Gómez (born 31 December 1990) is a Mexican racewalking athlete. He holds a personal best of 1:20:05 hours for the 20 kilometres race walk, set in 2016. He represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and is a three-time participant at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup (2008, 2010, 2012).
