The Taoiseach (, ) is the head of government or prime minister of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The office is appointed by the President of Ireland upon nomination by Dáil Éireann (the lower house of the Oireachtas, Ireland's national legislature) and the office-holder must retain the support of a majority in the Dáil to remain in office. University Hospital Kerry () is a public hospital in Quill Street, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. It is managed by South/Southwest Hospital Group. Derry, officially Londonderry, is the second-largest City status in the United Kingdom, city in Northern Ireland, and the fifth-largest on the island of Ireland. Located in County Londonderry, the city now covers both banks of the River Foyle. Letterkenny University Hospital
Letterkenny University Hospital () is a general hospital at Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. One of Ireland's busiest, the campus is divided by a main road heading on towards the North/West of Donegal on the N56 road (Ireland). A teaching hospital, it maintains links with the University of Galway, ATU Letterkenny and the Royal College of Surgeons. LUH has been affected by the problems faced by the HSE, from when it was introduced to the present day. A common feature is the treatment of patients on trolleys due to chronic bed shortages. The emergency department of the hospital was closed for nine months when it was destroyed by flooding in July 2013 which caused €40 million worth of damage. Glenmalure
Glenmalure () is a 20-kilometre long U-shaped glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. Glenmalure is an important base for climbing in the Wicklow mountains, and particularly accessing the massif of Lugnaquilla, and contains one of the earliest An Óige youth hostels in Ireland. Glenmalure was also an important historical area and the site of the Battle of Glenmalure in 1580, as well as various events in the Irish Rebellion of 1798. The Art O'Neill Challenge, also known as the AON Challenge, the Art O'Neill Ultra or simply The Art O'Neill, is an approximately 60 kilometre Republic of Ireland, Irish ultramarathon overnight endurance race that begins at Dublin Castle, typically at midnight, and finishes at Glenmalure in the Wicklow Mountains the following day. The event takes place annually in the month of January, starting on a Friday night, and ends the following day. The event recreates the Elizabethan era escape of Red Hugh O'Donnell and brothers Art and Henry MacShane O'Neill, Henry O'Neill from Dublin Castle on 6 January 1592, and the subsequent journey by Art and Red Hugh to Glenmalure.
