2009 British Formula 3 International Series
The 2009 British Formula 3 International Series (for sponsorship reasons, the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series) was the 59th British Formula 3 International Series season. It began on 13 April at Oulton Park's Easter Monday meeting and ended on 20 September at Brands Hatch after 20 rounds in four countries. Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo won the title with two races to spare, at the penultimate round at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão. Daniel McKenzie sealed the National Class title during the same race. Drivers and teams Calendar The calendar for 2009 saw the total number of races drop from 22 to 20. Three overseas events remain, with the 24 Hours of Spa-supporting event the only one to remain from 2008. However, the Monza 1000km-supporting races and the FIA GT-support event in Bucharest were dropped to be replaced by the series' first visit to Germany and to Hockenheim, and also a visit to the brand-new Autódromo Internacional ...

Adriano Buzaid (born July 5, 1988) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Formula Ford Having been a finalist in IndyCar Series driver Tony Kanaan's Stock Car Junior selections, Buzaid moved to the UK to compete in the 2006 British Formula Ford Championship for Eau Rouge Motorsport. Buzaid finished eleventh in the championship, including a win at Rockingham. Formula Renault Buzaid signed with AKA Lemac for the 2006 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Winter Series, as a precursor to a possible deal for the 2007 series. Buzaid teamed up with Adam Christodoulou and Jon Lancaster, and ended up seventh with a best result of second coming in the final race at Croft. Hitech Grand Prix (formerly Hitech Racing, currently racing as Hitech TGR for sponsorship reasons) is a British motor racing team. Jay Bridger (born 23 September 1987, in Kent) is a British racing driver. Bridger began racing in karts at the age of 8, winning four karting championships before starting his professional career in British Formula Ford in 2006. He finished fifth in the championship in 2007 and finished sixth in the Duratec class at the Formula Ford Festival and 10th in the Walter Hayes Trophy. Stéphane Richelmi (born 17 March 1990 in Monte Carlo) is a Monégasque professional racing driver. He is the son of former World Rally Championship driver Jean-Pierre Richelmi. Riki James Christodoulou (born 15 July 1988) is a British racing driver, born in Sutton Coldfield. His cousin Adam Christodoulou is also a British Racing Driver. Career Karting Christodoulou began racing in 1996, and has raced karts in the UK, Italy, France, Belgium, including winning at Spa, and in Japan. However, it wasn't until 1999 when he started to make waves on the British karting circuit.
