2008–09 CEBL
The Central European Basketball League, or CEBL for short, was a basketball tournament with Central European basketball teams. In the 2008/2009 inaugural season, teams from the following five countries participated: Czech Republic, Austria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. After the group rounds, Final Four was held in Timișoara, Romania Romania is a country located at the crossroads of Central Europe, Central, Eastern Europe, Eastern and Southeast Europe. The Central European Basketball League (also known as the CEBL) was a professional basketball competition in Central Europe. Klosterneuburg Dukes is an Austrian professional basketball club based in Klosterneuburg. With a total of 10 national titles, Klosterneuburg is one of the most successful teams in Austria. Kapfenberg Bulls, also known simply as Bulls, is a professional basketball club that is based in Kapfenberg, Styria, Austria. The team plays in the Austrian Basketball Superliga.
