2008 Orange Warsaw Open
The 2008 Orange Warsaw Open was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay court. It was the 8th edition of the Orange Warsaw Open, and was part of the International Series of the 2008 ATP Tour. It took place at the Warszawianka Courts in Warsaw, Poland, from 9 June through 15 June 2008. The singles field was led by ATP No. 4, Miami Masters and Pörtschach winner Nikolay Davydenko, defending champion Tommy Robredo, and Viña del Mar and Pörtschach runner-up Juan Mónaco. ATP International Series
The ATP International Series (known from 1990 to 1999 as the ATP World Series) was a series of professional tennis tournaments held internationally as part of the ATP Tour from 2000 to 2008. The series was renamed ATP Tour 250 in 2009. International Series offered players cash prizes (tournaments have purses from $416,000 to $1,000,000) and the ability to earn ATP ranking points. They generally offered less prize money and fewer points than the ATP International Series Gold, but more than tournaments on the ATP Challenger Series. 2007 Orange Prokom Open
The 2007 Orange Prokom Open was the tenth edition of this men's tennis tournament and was played on outdoor clay courts. The tournament was part of the International Series of the 2007 ATP Tour. It took place in Sopot, Poland from 30 July through 6 August 2007. Tommy Robredo won the singles title. Betting controversy Nikolay Davydenko, then world number 4, was questioned under suspicion of match fixing after his unexpected second round loss to world number 87 Martín Vassallo Argüello, 2–6, 6–3, 2–1 by retirement. Online betting company Betfair reported its suspicions to the game's governing body, the Association of Tennis Professionals, after irregular betting patterns occurred. Albert Montañés
Albert Montañés Roca (, ; born 26 November 1980) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. He first entered the top 100 in 2001, achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 22 in 2010, and has won six singles titles and two doubles titles. Montañés is one of very few players to win a title after saving match points in two different matches. He did it during his title run in Estoril 2009 in his quarterfinals and the final. Marcel Granollers
Marcel Granollers Pujol (; ; born 12 April 1986) is a Spanish professional tennis player. He reached a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 1 on 6 May 2024, becoming the second Spanish man to achieve the feat (after Emilio Sánchez Vicario in 1989). He is a Grand Slam champion at the 2025 French Open with Horacio Zeballos. He also has a career-high singles ranking of No. 19 achieved on 23 July 2012. Potito Starace
Potito Starace (; born 14 July 1981) is an Italian former professional tennis player on the ATP Tour. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world no. 27 on October 15, 2007. He was a clay court specialist, and was coached by Umberto Rianna. Starace was banned from tennis for life by the Italian Tennis Federation and by the Tennis Integrity Unit for betting offences. Career One of the most memorable runs of Starace's career was when he made the men's doubles semifinals of the 2012 French Open, partnering Daniele Bracciali, before succumbing to top seeds Daniel Nestor and Max Mirnyi. Guillermo Cañas
Guillermo "Willy" Ignacio Cañas (; born November 25, 1977) is an Argentine former professional tennis player and coach. He was ranked world No. 8 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), achieved in June 2005. Cañas won seven singles titles on the ATP Tour, including the 2002 Canada Masters, and reached the quarterfinals of the French Open three times. He was suspended in August 2005 for a doping violation, returning to the circuit in September 2006. His career-high singles ranking was world No. 5, which he reached in August 2006 as a result of winning the 2006 Hamburg Masters – Singles, Hamburg Masters earlier in the year.
