The 2008 Mnet KM Music Festival (MKMF) was the tenth of the annual music awards in Seoul, South Korea that took place on November 15, 2008, at the Seoul Sports Complex. Leading the nominees were boy groups TVXQ and Epik High, and girl group Wonder Girls with 5 nominations each. By the end of the ceremony, Wonder Girls won the most wins and became the first artist/performer to receive 3 wins, which included one daesang award. Seoul Sports Complex (), a.k.a. “Jamsil Sports Complex” (), is a group of sports facilities in Songpa-gu in Seoul, South Korea. Super Junior
Super Junior (; stylized in all caps), also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band. The group is composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Jaurim ( meaning "Purple Rainforest") is a rock music, rock band from Seoul, South Korea. They had performed in the indie scene in 1993. The band's initial name was Full Count. Jewelry () was a South Korean girl group formed in 2001 by Star Empire Entertainment. The group, which underwent several line-up changes over the years, disbanded in 2015. Mighty Mouth () is a South Korean duet male group made up of Sangchu () and Shorry J (). Debuted in 2008 with their ''Energy'' album featuring Yoon Eun Hye for "I love you", Sunye of Wonder Girls for "Energy" and Son Dambi for "Family". 2AM () is a South Korean boy band, that consists of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong, and Jeong Jin-woon. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment through the Mnet documentary ''Hot Blood'', which spawned the eleven-member boy band One Day; 2AM primarily perform ballad songs while their brother group 2PM performed more dance-focused music. "My Way" is Paul Anka's English-language lyrical adaptation of the French song " Comme d'habitude", released by Frank Sinatra in 1969. The original song was written by Jacques Revaux, Gilles Thibaut, and Claude François, and was first recorded by the latter in 1967. The song was a success for a variety of performers, including Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Sid Vicious. Sinatra's version of "My Way" spent 75 weeks in the UK top 40, which is the 4th most weeks in UK chart history.
