2008 ISSF World Cup Final (shotgun)
The 2008 ISSF World Cup Final in shotgun events was held on 27–30 September in Minsk, Belarus. It was the last major worldwide shotgun competition in 2008, and the next-to-last part of the 2008 ISSF World Cup, to be concluded with the 2008 ISSF World Cup Final (rifle and pistol), rifle and pistol finals in Bangkok a month later. There were twelve spots in each of the five events. The defending champion from the 2007 ISSF World Cup, 2007 World Cup Final and all medalists of the Shooting at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 Olympics in Beijing qualified automatically for Minsk. The remaining eight qualified through a special point-awarding system based on their best performance during the World Cup season, skipping past automatic qualifiers. Ronjan Sodhi (born 23 October 1979 in Ferozepur, Punjab, India) is an Indian Double trap shooter. He won two silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and a gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games. In 2011, he became first Indian to successfully defend a World Cup title. He is also a recipient of the Arjuna Award and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award (2013). Dominic P. Grazioli (born February 4, 1964) is an American trap shooter. He won a total of ten medals (4 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze) for men's trap shooting at the ISSF World Cup.
