The 2008 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix was the second season of BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix with fourteen tournaments in contested. The season started with German Open in February and ended with Vietnam Open in December. BWF Grand Prix Gold And Grand Prix
The BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix was a series of badminton tournaments sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) which was run from 2007 to 2017. Features Prize money A Grand Prix Gold tournament offered minimum prize money of United States dollar, US$120,000, while a Grand Prix tournament offered minimum prize money of US$50,000. The formula of prize money distribution was identical to BWF Super Series#Prize money, Super Series tournament. The Druzhba Multipurpose Arena () is an indoor arena in Moscow, Russia, part of the Luzhniki Sports Complex. It was built in 1979, and the first competition held there was the finals of the 7th USSR Summer Spartakiad. Topsportcentrum (Almere)
The Topsportcentrum is an indoor sports arena, located in Almere, Netherlands. Designed by architectural studio ZJA, it opened on the 7th of October in 2007. Its operator is the city of Almere and its main hall has a capacity of 3,000 people. The sports it is used most for are volleyball and basketball, with VC Allvo and Almere Pioneers using the venue as their home arena. The hall was finished in 2007 and costed €14 million. Saarlandhalle Saarbrücken
Saarlandhalle is a 5,500-capacity multi-purpose indoor arena located in Saarbrücken, Germany. Originally opened in 1967 with funds from Saarland Sporttoto for sports competitions, it was later converted to multi-purpose indoor arena. The Ludwigsparkstadion is located near the hall. Saarlandhalle is also the first indoor arena in (West) Germany to be organized as a limited liability company.
