2008 AFF Championship Qualification
The 2008 AFF Championship qualification was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 17 to 25 October 2008 for the five lower-ranked teams in Southeast Asia. All teams play in a round-robin tournament format and the top two teams of the group qualify for the tournament proper. Shah Razen Said
Mohammad Shah Razen bin Said (born 14 December 1985) is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Brunei Super League club DPMM FC II. He is the joint record goalscorer for Brunei (shared with Azwan Ali Rahman) with eight goals. Shah Razen is included in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics' all-time Brunei Men's Dream Team first eleven that was announced in August 2021. Club career Besides DPMM, Shah Razen has also played for AH United, non-league Viva Rangers, Wijaya FC, as well as a short trial with Indian club Sporting Clube de Goa. Christopher Robert Barbon Greatwich (born 30 September 1983) is a Filipino retired footballer. He was the assistant head coach of the Philippines in 2018 to 2020. He has previously played for Morris County Colonials, Kaya FC, and the Philippines national football team. Abu Bakar Mahari
Muhammad Abu Bakar bin Mahari (born 11 February 1985) is a Bruneian footballer playing as a striker for Penabai Kuala Tutong FT. He is nicknamed the "Eto'o of Tutong" due to similarities in appearance and footballing qualities with Samuel Eto'o of Cameroon. Club career After impressive displays for the Prisons Department and NBT FC in the domestic league, Abu Bakar was drafted in to play for Brunei's sole professional club DPMM FC in the Singaporean S.League and he contributed 3 goals in 20 matches, winning the 2009 Singapore League Cup. Abu Bakar was sent on loan to his old club the Prisons Department while DPMM could not resume playing due to a FIFA ban. In this period, he suffered an injury which kept him out for a year. Hardi Bujang
Hardi Bujang (born 19 October 1984) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a midfielder. He played for the Brunei national football team between 2006 and 2008, gaining 11 caps and scoring three goals for the Wasps. Club career Hardi previously played for QAF FC from 2003 until 2015, when he joined Jerudong FC after QAF waived entry to the 2015 Brunei Super League. Between 2006 and 2009, he was a member of Brunei's sole professional team DPMM FC which played in Malaysia and then Singapore, but still turned out for QAF FC domestically. Pengiran Sallehuddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit (born 5 November 1973) is a Bruneian retired footballer who is a coach for Kasuka FC. One of the legends of Bruneian football, he most notably played for the Brunei M-League representative team that won the 1999 Malaysia Cup, which is regarded as Brunei football's greatest achievement. Ian Bayona Araneta (born March 2, 1982) is a Filipino former footballer who plays as a forward who played for Stallion and Philippine Air Force. He is also a former member of the Philippines national team.
