2007–08 Bonaire League Season
Divishon Honor – Bonaire or known as Liga FFB and Kampionato (literally ''[the football] championship '') is the top association football league in Bonaire, a special municipality of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. The top two clubs competed in the Netherlands Antilles Championship until the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010. Bonaire
Bonaire is a Caribbean island in the Leeward Antilles, and is a Caribbean Netherlands, special municipality (officially Public body (Netherlands), "public body") of the Netherlands. Its capital is the port of Kralendijk, on the west (Windward and leeward, leeward) coast of the island. Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao form the ABC islands (Lesser Antilles), ABC islands, 80 km (50 miles) off the coast of Venezuela. The islands have an arid climate that attracts visitors seeking warm, sunny weather all year round, and they lie outside the Main Development Region for tropical cyclones. Bonaire is a popular snorkeling and scuba diving destination because of its multiple shore diving sites, shipwrecks and easy access to the island's fringing reefs. 2006–07 Bonaire League Season
The 2006/07 season of the Bonearian football League started on October 27, 2006 and the final was played on August 3, 2007. The championship was played over 3 phases. First phase with all 7 teams, followed by a playoff with the top 4 teams and then a final with the 2 top teams. Matches started at the stadium of Kralendijk but, due to renovations of the pitch, were continued at Antonio Trenidat Stadium in Rincon. With home court advantage both teams of Rincon qualified for the final for the second time in history. Vespo defeated Real Rincon 1-0 to become champion only for the second time in their history. The season ended officially on September 14, 2007, with a Supercup (held for the first time) between the champions Vespo and the best placed team of the regular season Real Rincon. 2003–04 Bonaire League Season
The 2003/04 season of the Bonaire League, Bonearian football League played in Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles started on September 7, 2003 and the final was played on June 25, 2004. The championship was played over 3 phases. First phase with all 7 teams, followed by a playoff with the top 4 teams and then a final with the 2 top teams. For the first times Real Rincon and Vespo were allowed to play each team once at home in the Antonio Trenidat Stadium. All remaining matches were played at Stadion Playa at Kralendijk. Defending champions Real Rincon successfully defended their titles by defeating SV Estrellas in the final 1-0. Regular season ''Teams face each other 2 times. 2002–03 Bonaire League Season
The 2002/03 Bonaire League (the top association football league in Bonaire, special municipality of Netherlands) season was delayed and later on cancelled due to some internal problems. The FFB later on decided to organise a warm up championship for the 2003/2004 season. The championship was held with a 7 team round robin followed by a final between the top 2 team. All matches were played in the Antonio Trinidat stadium in Rincon. Real Rincon won the final by defeating Juventus 3-0. Regular season ''Teams face each other 1 time.
