The 2007–08 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship was the fourth staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship since its establishment made by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 2004. The 2007–08 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship#All-Ireland final, All-Ireland final was played on 9 February 2008 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Clonkill GAA, Clonkill from Westmeath and Tommy Larkin's GAA, Tommy Larkin’s from Galway. Clonkill won the match by 4-15 to 3-14 to become the first Westmeath club to win an All-Ireland title. Paddy Dowdall
Paddy Dowdall (born 1982) is an Irish people, Irish hurling, hurler who currently plays as a midfielder for the Westmeath GAA, Westmeath senior team. Dowdall joined the Westmeath team straight from the minor ranks in 2001, however, he didn't become a regular until the National Hurling League 2003, 2003 National League. Since then he was won two Christy Ring Cup medals and one National Hurling League, National League (Division 2) medal. At club level Dowdall is an All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, All-Ireland and Leinster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, Leinster medalist in the intermediate grade with Clonkill GAA, Clonkill. He has also won four Westmeath Senior Hurling Championship, senior county club championship medals. Also plays Gaelic football for St Lomans GAA, Mullingar. Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship
The Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Hurling Intermediate Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion intermediate clubs in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition for intermediate clubs in Munster hurling. The Munster Intermediate Club Championship was introduced in 2003. In its current format, the championship begins in late October or early November and is usually played over a four-week period. The Waterford Intermediate Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Intermediate Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Waterford IHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Waterford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1964 and contested by the divisional intermediate champions in the county of Waterford in Ireland. It is the third tier overall in the entire Waterford hurling championship system. Ennis ( , meaning 'island' or 'river meadow') is the county town of County Clare, in the mid-west of Ireland.
