2007 Supercupa României
The 2007 Supercupa României was the 10th edition of Romania's season opener cup competition. The match was played in Bucharest at Stadionul Naţional on 25 July 2007, and was contested between Liga I title holders, FC Dinamo București and Cupa României champions, FC Rapid București. The winner, after penalties, was Rapid. Supercupa României
The Supercupa României () is a Romanian football (soccer), football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994 Supercupa României, 1994, with the first edition being won by FCSB, Steaua București. In 2010 Supercupa României, 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. At that time, they faced FC Unirea Urziceni, Unirea Urziceni, the Liga I runners-up. The most successful performer so far is FC FCSB, FCSB winning the competition 7 times. Ionel Daniel Dănciulescu (born 6 December 1976) is a Romanian former professional association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), forward, currently head of youth development at Liga III club CS Dinamo București (football), CS Dinamo București. He holds the all-time record for the most competitive appearances in Liga I, with 515 games played over the course of twenty years. He is the second-highest goalscorer in the history of Liga I with 214 goals, only behind Dudu Georgescu with 252. George Blay
George Blay (born 7 August 1980) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Club career Blay was born on 7 August 1980 in Elmina, Ghana and started to play football at Sekondi Hasaacas. He went to play in Belgium for Standard Liège, making his Belgian First Division debut under coach Aad de Mos on 31 August 1997 in a 3–0 away victory against Germinal Ekeren. He scored his first league goal on 29 August 1998 when he closed the score in a 3–0 home win over Eendracht Aalst. He spent a total of five seasons at Standard, reaching two Belgian Cup finals under the guidance of coach Tomislav Ivić, however both of them were lost. Vladimir Božović (, ; born 13 November 1981) is a Montenegrin professional football coach and a former player who is the head coach of FK Sušica Kragujevac. He earned 42 international caps for Montenegro between 2007 and 2014. Club career Born in Peć, modern day Kosovo, Božović moved to Kragujevac at an early age.
