Plus Belle La Vie
''Plus belle la vie'' (More beautiful life) is a French television soap opera based on an idea by Hubert Besson and characters created by Georges Desmouceaux, Bénédicte Achard, Magaly Richard-Serrano and Olivier Szulzynger. On air from 30 August 2004 until 18 November 2022, it was shown on France 3 on Monday to Friday evenings at 8:15 p.m. The show began with 17 main actors and gained more later. On 11 July 2008, France 3 broadcast its 1000th episode, a milestone in French television. The series set a second record on 8 June 2012, airing its 2000th episode. On 22 April 2016, it broadcast its 3000th episode, and on 21 February 2020, its 4000th. Plot The series follows the daily lives of the inhabitants of "Le Mistral", a fictional neighbourhood in the Mediterranean port city of Marseille, where wealthy and less than wealthy families co-exist. Musique Classique
Created on 2 April 1996, Musique Classique was a television channel owned by AB Groupe. The programming consisted of classical concerts, opera, lyrical works, and magazine programmes (e.g. ''À livret ouvert''...). The channel was run by Jean-Michel Fava. Musique Classique was shown on the AB Sat package, some cable operators, such as Noos-Numericable Numericable was a major French cable operator and telecommunications services company. Numericable was originally created in 2007 from the merger between former competitors Noos and NC Numericable networks. Numericable Group SA was founded in Aug ... Disney Cinemagic was a European block programming, programming block and television channel brand that was used from 2006 to 2019, owned by The Walt Disney Company (UK) (50%) Sky Group, Sky plc (50%) and operated by the Disney Channels Worldwide division of The Walt Disney Company. Toon Disney
Toon Disney was an American multinational pay television channel owned by Disney Branded Television, a subsidiary of Disney-ABC Television Group. The channel's target audience was children aged 7–11, and older children and adolescents aged 8–15 during the Jetix programming block. A spin-off of Disney Channel, the channel's programming mostly included animated series, shorts, and features from Disney, as well as acquired programs. Virgin 17
Virgin 17 was a French music video and TV show television network owned by the MCM Group, a subsidiary of Lagardère Active. It was available through digital terrestrial television (DTT). The channel was created for the launch of DTT and modeled after MCM, another channel owned by Lagardère Active. It initially had the working title "iMCM", but in 2004 it was named after the radio station Europe 2, and was then renamed Virgin 17 on 1 January 2008 (along with the radio station which became Virgin Radio France). From 1 September 2010, Virgin 17 changed its name to Direct Star. This change was intended by the Bolloré Group "for the sake of the uniform group" . Vivolta was a French pay-tv-channel devoted "to the art of everyday feminine living" launched on December 10, 2007. The channel ceased operations on December 31, 2018. MTV Base was a 24-hour French subscription music channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks Europe. History A first channel, MTV Base UK was launched on 1 July 1999. Canal+ Family
Canal+ Family was a French TV channel devoted to the broadcast of family programming. It was part of the "Les Chaînes Canal+" and the "Famille" package from Canal+. In 2021, the channel closed in Metropolitan France, to be replaced by Canal+ Kids and Canal+ Docs. Canal+ Family still has an active African version, on channel 6 from Canal+ Afrique. History Canal+ Family was launched on 27 October 2007 as a complement to Canal+. The channel began broadcasting in High Definition (HD) on 12 October 2010. In October 2010, Canal+ SA applied to the CSA to obtain a frequency for the channel on the TNT but this application was rejected on 14 December in favor of the LFP string CFoot. Fit TV was a French TV channel of AB Groupe dedicated to fitness. History The channel was originally broadcast only on AB Sat, and then through a subscription on certain networks of cable operators and digital broadcasting TV packages.
