The 2007 Carolina Panthers season was the franchise's 13th season in the National Football League (NFL) and the team's 11th season at Bank of America Stadium. The National Football Conference – Southern Division or NFC South is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Charles Johnson (defensive End)
Charles Johnson (born July 10, 1986) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for 11 seasons for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the Panthers in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft. Early life Johnson attended Hawkinsville High School, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track. He played defensive end for the Hawkinsville Red Devils football team. As a junior, he earned Class A All-State honorable mention and All-Area honors. Jeff Davidson (born October 3, 1967) is an American professional football coach and former player in the National Football League (NFL). He was the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns. Playing career High school Davidson attended Westerville North High School in Westerville, Ohio and was a letterman in football. He was also all state in football as well as all state in track & field in the shot put, where he holds his high school's school record at 60'3." Jim Skipper
James Augustine Skipper (born January 23, 1949) is a former American football coach who was best known for being the running backs coach for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL) for 15 years (over two separate stretches). He was also the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants for three years, starting in 1997. Early years A native of Brawley, California, Skipper was an all-conference selection at Imperial Valley College, where he led the league in kickoff returns. Timothy Bruce Shaw (born March 27, 1984) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Penn State and he was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft. Shaw also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. College career Shaw was recruited out of Livonia Clarenceville High School as a running back. A three-star recruit, he decided to attend Penn State, spurning other scholarship offers from Big Ten schools such as Michigan and Michigan State. Dante Santiago Rosario (born October 25, 1984) is an American former professional football tight end. He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft.
