2007 ASEAN Football Championship
The 2007 AFF Championship (officially designated as the ASEAN Football Championship 2007) was the 6th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of Southeast Asia. The group stage was co-hosted by Singapore and Thailand from 12 to 17 January. Knockout stage with two-leg Home-and-away format was hosted from 23 January to 4 February 2007. It was renamed from the Tiger Cup, due to the cup's main sponsor, Tiger Beer, not continuing their title sponsorship. This was the last event held at Singapore's National Stadium before its redevelopment. Singapore set an AFF Cup record of a 15-match unbeaten run under coach Radojko Avramović, stretching back to the 2004 AFF Championship, and 17-match unbeaten run since the 4–0 defeat at home to neighbours Malaysia in the same competition on 18 December 2002. Noh Alam Shah
Mohd Noh Alam Shah (born 3 September 1980), known as Noh Alam Shah, is a Singaporean football coach and former professional association football, football player. who is the head coach of Singapore Premier League club Tanjong Pagar United. Once regarded as one of the best forwards in Southeast Asia, South East Asia, Alam Shah was a member of the Singapore national football team when it won the AFF Championship in 2005 and 2007. At club level, he was a player of the Tampines Rovers FC, Tampines Rovers team which won Singapore's S.League in 2004 and 2005. Alam Shah is also well known for his volatile temper, which got him into trouble on a number of occasions. An incident of violent conduct when he knocked another player unconscious while playing for Tampines Rovers in the 2007 Singapore Cup final led to a 12-month ban from playing club-level football. The Suphachalasai Stadium () is a sports stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, part of the National Stadium (Thailand), National Stadium complex. History The stadium construction started in 1937 in the original area of Thai Windsor Palace (Bangkok), Windsor Palace that demolished in 1935. The Department of Physical Education entered into a 29-year lease agreement with Chulalongkorn University. First use of the stadium happened when King Ananda Mahidol presided over in the opening ceremony of 1938 men's athletics competition, which changed the venue from Sanam Luang. Mohd Nizaruddin Yusof
Mohd Nizaruddin Yusof (born 10 November 1979) is a former Malaysian footballer who operates as a striker. He last played for Penjara FC in the Malaysia FAM League. He played for Malaysian national team and also has played for the Malaysia Under-23 in 2001 Southeast Asian Games. He is well known for his finishing ability. He became an instant hit with the local fans (Selangor and MPPJ) and also the envy of other clubs in the M-League. In November 2007, he signed for Perlis. He did not play when Perlis won the Malaysia Charity Shield. He moved to PDRM in 2008 on a season long deal. After his contract with PDRM ended, he returned to Perlis in 2009. Hairuddin Omar
Hairuddin Bin Omar (born 29 September 1979) also known as Hai-O is a Malaysian former international football player and currently coach. He spent most of his playing career as a forward, but could also play as a midfielder. His career as a coach began when he became the assistant coach of the Malaysia U-19 under Bojan Hodak. He has successfully helped Bojan lead the Malaysia U-19 to become the runner-up of the AFF U-19 Championship 2017 and the champion the following year. In 2022, he was appointed as an assistant coach of Terengganu FC under the management of Nafuzi Zain, and he also managed to help Terengganu become runner-up in the 2022 Malaysia FA Cup and second in the league. The Shah Alam Stadium () was a multi-purpose stadium and one of the largest stadiums in the world located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The Royal Thai Army Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai of north Bangkok, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches.
