2007 AFC Asian Cup Group C
Group C of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup was one of four groups of nations competing at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. The group's first round of matches began on 10 July and its last matches were played on 18 July. All six group matches were played at venues in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 2007 AFC Asian Cup
The 2007 AFC Asian Cup was the 14th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held from 7 to 29 July 2007. For the first time in its history, the competition was co-hosted by four countries in Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam; it was the first time in football history more than two countries joined host of a major continental competition and the only one to had ever taken place until the UEFA Euro 2020. Muhamad Kaironnisam Sahabudin Hussain (born 10 May 1979 in Mergong) is a Malaysian former footballer. He played as a defender. He previously played for Perlis FA during 2003 until 2005. During 2004 season, he help Perlis to clinch their first Malaysia Cup title after 83 years trying to win it. After the Malaysia Cup success, he stayed with the Northern Lions and helped Perlis FA to win the Malaysia Super League. He also helped Perlis FA to become Malaysia Cup runners-up to Selangor FA. Sun Xiang (; ; born 15 January 1982) is a Chinese former professional footballer who played as a left back. He played for Shanghai Shenhua, Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai SIPG in his native country and spent time on loan at Dutch club PSV Eindhoven and Austrian club Austria Wien. Li Leilei (; born June 30, 1977 in Beijing) is a former Chinese football goalkeeper and current goalkeeping coach of Beijing Guoan. Club career Li Leilei started his career with second tier club Bayi Football Team in the 1999 Chinese league season and would go on to become their first choice goalkeeper. With them he would gain promotion at the end of 2000, however after three seasons in the top tier the club were relegated at the end of the 2003 league season and disbanded due to financial difficulties brought about by professional football. Hairuddin Bin Omar (born 29 September 1979) also known as Hai-O is a Malaysian former international football player. He spent most of his career as a forward but can also play as a midfielder.
