2006–07 Ukrainian Second League
The 2006–07 Ukrainian Second League was the 16th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions were divided into two groups – A and B. This was a consolidation of the Second League from three groups in the previous season to two, due to the number of team withdrawal. Ukrainian Second League
The Ukrainian Second League (, ''Druha Liha'') is a professional football league in Ukraine which is part of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. As the third tier it was established in 1992 as the Transitional League and changed its name the next season. The league is lower than the Ukrainian First League (''Persha Liha'') and the lowest level of professional football competitions in the country. Since 1996 the league, after being merged with its lower tier (in 1992–1995 there was the Third League), consists of two main regions roughly north-west and south-east. The league's relegated teams lose their professional status and return to their regional associations. The Professional Football League of Ukraine (; also known as PFL) is a non-for-profit sports association of professional football (sports) clubs also known as the Football Clubs Association "Professional Football League of Ukraine". It is a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. The association members are created and act according to their statutory goals and objectives. Created in 1996 as a representative of all professional clubs in Ukraine, starting from 2008 the association only represents professional clubs of lower leagues (second and third tiers). The League organizes the football competition for football clubs in the second and the third level of the Ukrainian league system known as Persha Liha and Druha Liha respectively as well as early stages of the Ukrainian Cup. FC Yednist' Plysky
FC Yednist Plysky was a Ukrainian professional football team from the village of Plysky in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast. The club continues to play in the Chernihiv Oblast football competition. Club history The club was founded in 2001 and is sponsored by a local farming company ''Ahroservis''. Yednist began participating in the Ukrainian Second League from 2005. The club took the move of entering the professional competition after several years of successfully competing in the Amateur competitions (''Fourth Level'' of competition in Ukraine) including winning the Ukrainian Amateur Cup in 2003. The reserve club, FC Yednist-2 Plysky, competes in the Chernihivska oblast football competition proved the strength of the club by winning the Ukrainian Amateur Cup in 2007. FC Veres Rivne
Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne () is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The club competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, after winning the 2020–21 Ukrainian First League. Their home stadium until 2017 was Avanhard Stadium in Rivne. From that time, till September 2022 the club played its home matches at Avanhard Stadium in Lutsk. Since September 2022, all home matches are played in partially renovated Avanhard Stadium. Founded in 1957, Veres first promoted to Ukrainian Premier League in 1992, and spent there 5 seasons in total over three periods. They achieved their best result of 6th place in 2017–18 season. FC Karpaty 2 Lviv
Football Club Karpaty-2 Lviv () was the reserve team of Karpaty Lviv. It is considered their junior squad with most of the players under 20 years of age. In 2010-2012 the team participated in the championship of the Lviv Oblast. History Karpaty-2 were originally formed in the Ukrainian Second League back in 1997. However, in 2001 FC Lviv that competed in the Ukrainian First League was merged with Karpaty and FC Lviv was replaced with Karpaty-2, while the original team in the Second League was renamed to Karpaty-3. At the end of 2003–04 season Karpaty Lviv were relegated which automatically caused its other two teams to move down the championship leagues. FC Obolon-2 Bucha is the second team of Ukrainian professional football club FC Obolon Kyiv based in Bucha. It started in 2001 and played until February 2013, when it was discontinued for financial reasons. FC Naftovyk Dolyna () is a Ukrainian amateur football club based in Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the early 1990s. FC Nyva Ternopil (; ) is a Ukrainian football club from the city of Ternopil, the administrative center of Ternopil Oblast. As of the 2020–21 season, it played in the Ukrainian First League, the second tier of Ukrainian football, following promotion from the 2019–20 Ukrainian Second League. FC Feniks-Illichovets Kalinine ( (also ''Фенікс-Іллічiвець''); ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Kalinine which is located south-west of Dzhankoy (in the Crimea region).
