2006–07 FIS Snowboard World Cup
The 2006–07 FIS Snowboard World Cup is a multi race tournament over a season for snowboarding. The season began on 13 October 2006, and finished on 18 March 2007. The World Cup is organized by the FIS who also run world cups and championships in cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, alpine skiing, and freestyle skiing. Snowboarding is a recreational and competitive activity that involves descending a snow-covered surface while standing on a snowboard that is almost always attached to a rider's feet. Jasey-Jay Anderson
Jasey-Jay Anderson (born 13 April 1975 in Val-Morin, Quebec) is a Canadian snowboarder and Olympic gold medallist, who competed in the 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, Winter Olympics. Anderson currently resides in Mont-Tremblant outside of Montreal. Personal life When he is not snowboarding, Anderson lives on a blueberry farm in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Bad Gastein ( is a spa town in the St. Johann im Pongau District. is a Japanese snowboarder who competes in the half-pipe event. He represented Japan at the 2002 Winter Olympics, where he placed 19th. He won the 2009–10 FIS Snowboard World Cup event in Kreischberg, Austria, his first career World Cup victory. Markus Malin (born 28 May 1987) is a Finnish snowboarder. He is a two-time Olympian; representing Finland in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyongchang and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. At both Olympics, Markus competed in halfpipe, finishing 11th in 2010 and 19th in 2018. Malin won the bronze medal at a 2008–09 World Cup event at Stoneham Mountain Resort in the halfpipe. Scotty Lago (born November 12, 1987) is an American snowboarder. He is the 2004 world half-pipe champion and winner of a bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Career Lago has been riding since 1996. He is sponsored by Hudsen Collective, ION cameras, Mountain Dew, Moultrie Mobile, Smith Optics and Friends. He began snowboarding at a local tubing hill in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Lago was a member of the 2010 U.S. Olympic Snowboarding half-pipe team along with Shaun White, Greg Bretz, and Louie Vito. On February 17, 2010, Lago won the bronze medal with a score of 42.8 out of 50.0. On February 19, 2010, controversial photos surfaced of Lago with his bronze medal and Team USA gear.
