The Botola Pro (), officially known as the Botola Pro Inwi for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Morocco and the top tier of the Moroccan football league system. Organized by the Ligue Nationale de Football Professionnel (LNFP), under the authority of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the league features 16 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Botola 2. The Botola Pro season runs from August to May, with each of the 16 teams playing 30 matches (facing every other team twice, once at home and once away), totaling 240 matches per season. Most games are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, while others are played on weekday evenings. The league is currently sponsored by Inwi. From 2015 to 2019, it was known as Botola Maroc Telecom due to its previous sponsorship agreement with Maroc Telecom. Coupe Du Trône
The Moroccan Throne Cup or the Throne Cup () is a Single-elimination tournament, knockout Association football, football tournament in Football in Morocco, Moroccan football, organized by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.The first club to win this cup was Mouloudia Oujda. Since the inception of the cup, the system has been one-match, but this system has been modified back and forth. The Throne Cup champion qualifies directly to the CAF Confederation Cup, but if the cup champion is the same as the league champion in that season or a participant in the CAF Champions League, the club that played the final is the one that compensates the winner in the external competition. 2008 CAF Confederation Cup
The 2008 CAF Confederation Cup was the fifth edition of the CAF Confederation Cup. Its schedule began with the preliminary round (home and away ties) in mid-February. The competition concluded on 22 November with CS Sfaxien winning the title. Qualifying rounds All rounds have been drawn. Botola Pro D2 Inwi, commonly known as Botola 2 (formerly the ''Groupement National de Football 2''), is the second division of the Moroccan football league, behind the Botola, Morocco's highest football league. It features 16 teams from across the country that compete for the top two positions, with the top two teams being promoted to the Botola at the end of the season. Each season, the bottom 3 teams are relegated to the third-level, GNFA 1. The league was created on June 11, 1915, in Morocco during the French protectorate, by the Moroccan Federation of Athletic Sports (FMSA), and was governed by the FMSA until 1922, when the League of Morocco of Football Association took over. IR Tanger and MA Tétouan are the most successful clubs in the competition, with 6 titles each. COD Meknès is the current title holder. Raja De Casablanca
Raja Club Athletic, widely known as Raja Casablanca or simply Raja, is a football club based in Casablanca, Morocco, that competes in Botola, the top flight of Moroccan football. Founded on 20 March 1949 in the district of Derb Sultan, the club has traditionally worn a green home kit since inception. Raja is a well known club for the success of its football section, very popular in and outside the country. The club sits at the Raja CA Academy for training and plays home games in the Stade Mohammed V since 1955. Unlike most African sporting entities, Raja's members have owned and operated the club throughout its history. The club is one of the most widely supported teams in Africa.
