2005–06 Polish Cup
The fifty-second season of the annual Polish Cup competition was contested in 2005–06. It began on 2 August 2005 with the Preliminary Round and ended on 3 May 2006 with second leg of the Final, played at Stadion im. Kazimierza Górskiego, Płock. The winners qualified for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. Wierzyca Pelplin
KS Wierzyca Pelpin is a football club based in Pelpin, Kociewie, Poland. As of the 2024–25 season, the team competes in the Pomerania group of IV liga, after finishing top of the Gdańsk II group of the regional league the season prior. The club's chairman, Jacek Imianowski, has been dubbed a one-man band by the regional press due to having previously performed nearly all functions at the club, including being a coach, team manager and coaching coordinator. Ground Wierzyca plays at the 900 capacity ''Stadion Miejski w Pelplinie'', a municipal stadium located in their home town. In 2018, the first stage of the modernisation of the stadium was completed with the opening of a new football pitch and spectator stand. OKS Odra Opole Spółka Akcyjna () is a association football, football club based in Opole, Poland, currently playing in the I liga. History Beginnings The history of Odra Opole began on 16 June 1945, when in the Opole Town Hall, a group of sports officials gathered to form a new Polish sports organisation. Under first chairman, lawyer Leonard Olejnik, Odra organised first post-WWII sports competition in the city: street running (July 1945). In 1948, Odra merged with Lwowianka Opole and Chrobry Groszowice, and in 1948–1958, the club was called Budowlani Opole. Sława Sławno
Sława (; ) is a town in Wschowa County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. As of the 2019 census, Sława had a population of 4,321. It is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Sławskie. History The area was part of Poland after the creation of the state in the 10th century. Later on, as a result of the fragmentation of Poland into smaller provincial duchies, Sława initially formed part of Greater Poland before it passed to Silesia, and then to the Duchy of Głogów, where it remained ruled by the Piast dynasty until 1468.
