2005–06 LEB 2 Season
The 2005–06 LEB 2 season was the 6th season of the LEB Plata, second league of the Liga Española de Baloncesto and third division in Spain. It is also named Adecco Plata for sponsorship reasons. Competition format 16 teams play the regular season. This is a round robin, where each team will play twice against every rival. After the regular season, the eight first qualified teams played a playoff, were the two finalists promoted to Liga Española de Baloncesto, LEB. The last qualified team was relegated to Liga EBA, with the loser of the relegation playoffs, played by the 14th and the 15th qualified teams. If two or more teams have got the same number of winning games, the criteria of tie-breaking are these: #Head-to-head winning games. #Head-to-head points difference. #Total points difference. LEB 2
The Segunda FEB, formerly known as LEB 2 and LEB Plata, is the third basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system and the second basketball division organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation. Since 2019, three teams are promoted to Primera FEB and six teams are relegated to Tercera FEB. From the 2024–25 season it will be named Segunda FEB. CB Valls
Club Bàsquet Valls is a basketball club based in Valls, Catalonia, Spain that currently plays in Liga EBA, the fourth tier of Spanish basketball. History Founded in 1952, its first success came in 1993 when the club qualified for the promotion playoffs to the Primera División, at that time the second tier. In 1995 the club was promoted to Liga EBA after finishing champion of the promotion stage played in Monzón. In 2001, Valls made its debut in LEB 2, third tier. In its first season, it qualified for the promotion playoffs but was eliminated in the quarterfinals. Amics del Bàsquet Castelló, also known as TAU Castelló for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball team based in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. It was founded in 1994 and currently plays in LEB Oro. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso started his coach career in this team, in the 2003–2004 LEB 2 season. Club Esportiu Bàsquet Llíria is a basketball club based in Llíria, Spain. It played in Liga ACB from 1991 to 1993. CB Axarquía
Club Baloncesto Axarquía, more known by its sponsorship name of Clinicas Rincón Axarquía, was a basketball team based in Málaga, Andalusia. History Until the 2000s, Axarquía played in Regional leagues and in Liga EBA. In 2005 the team achieved a vacant berth in LEB 2 and started its collaboration as the farm team of Unicaja. Since 2011, the club started playing its games out of the ''comarca'' of Axarquía. CB Clavijo
Club Baloncesto Clavijo is a professional Basketball team based in Logroño, La Rioja. The team currently plays in league LEB Oro. History Founded in 1967, CB Clavijo started their first years playing in the provincial league and after achieving several promotions, reaches the Segunda División, third tier, in 1977. Palencia Baloncesto, officially named as Super Agropal Palencia, is a Spanish professional basketball team based in Palencia, Castile and León. The team currently plays in league Primera FEB. History The club was founded in 1979 at Colegio Marista of Palencia, with the aim to support farm teams competing at provincial and regional tournaments. Club Bàsquet Vic is a Spanish basketball club based in Vic, Spain, Vic, Catalonia.
