2005–06 European Challenge Trophy
The 2005–06 European Challenge Trophy was inaugural edition of the International Challenge Trophy. It was contested by just four teams - England C national football team, England C, Netherlands Amateurs, Belgium national under-21 football team, Belgium U-21 and Italy Lega Pro representative teams, Italy Lega Pro U-21. Each team played each other once. England C won the competition after winning all three of their games. Andy Bishop
Andrew Jamie Bishop (born 19 October 1982) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League North club Stalybridge Celtic. Bishop started his career in the youth team at Walsall, taking loan spells with Kidderminster Harriers, Rochdale and Yeovil Town. He was released by Walsall in 2004 and he joined York City where he stayed for two seasons before signing for Bury. Bishop was the player-manager of National League club Southport during 2016. Stefano Ferrario
Stefano Ferrario (born 28 March 1985) is an Italian former footballer who played for Serie D club Cattolica. Club career Ferrario started his career at Calcio Como. On 25 August 2005 Ferrario was signed by Ternana as a free agent. In 2007, he was sold to Ravenna in a co-ownership deal. In June 2009 Ravenna signed him outright. Lecce In January 2010 he was signed by Lecce. In January 2012 he was signed by Parma F.C. in a temporary deal, plus a buy-out clause, with Manuele Blasi moved to Lecce from Parma in a definitive deal. Burton upon Trent, also known as Burton-on-Trent or simply Burton, is a market town in the borough of East Staffordshire in the county of Staffordshire, England, close to the border with Derbyshire. Pirelli Stadium
Pirelli Stadium is an association football stadium on Princess Way in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England. It was built in 2005 and is the current home of Burton Albion FC, replacing the club's old Eton Park home, also on Princess Way, which was demolished and developed into housing. The ground was built on the former site of the Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd Sports & Social Club, and having had the land donated to the club by Pirelli, in return for naming rights, the ground cost £7.2 million to build. George Jan Boyd (born 2 October 1985) is a professional association football, footballer who plays for Wythenshawe Town F.C., Wythenshawe Town. Kieran James Charnock (born 3 August 1984) is an English footballer who plays as a defender. Career Born in Preston, Lancashire, Charnock began his career at Wigan Athletic, coming through the club's youth system. However, he failed to establish himself in the squad and was sent out on loan to Southport. Charnock was released by Wigan quickly moving on to Football Conference side Northwich Victoria.
