The 2005–06 Austrian Football First League season was the 32nd season of second level league football in Austria. It was the fourth season that it used the name Red Zac First League. Austrian Football First League
The Second League (), commonly known as Admiral 2. Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. The division currently contains 16 teams, and the champion of the league is promoted to the Austrian Football Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga if it is not a reserve team. The two last-placed teams are directly relegated from the Second League into the regional leagues. Teams Starting in the 2018–19 season, the former First League changed its name to the Second League and expanded from ten teams to 16 teams. Sixteen teams will participate in the 2025–26 season. Reichshofstadion
Planet Pure Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Lustenau, Austria, built in 1951. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of SC Austria Lustenau. The stadium (before the 2024-2025 renovation) holds 5,138 people, of which 3,094 seats and 2,044 standing. History The stadium was built in 1951. In 1953 the stadium received its first real grandstand. In 1995 the main grandstand was rebuilt and in 2000 the natural turf pitch was given underfloor heating. Originally the stadium had an athletics facility, but this had to give way to additional stands, so today the facility is de facto used as a pure football stadium. It offers space for a total of 8,800 spectators, of which 2,126 are covered seats, 2,390 are covered standing and 4,284 are uncovered standing. The 2006–07 Austrian Football Bundesliga was the 95th season of top-tier football in Austria. The competition is officially called ''T-Mobile Bundesliga'', named after the Austrian branch of German mobile phone company T-Mobile. Linzer Stadion was a multi-purpose stadium, in Linz, Austria. Originally built in 1952, the stadium was last modified in 2012 and now has a capacity of 21,005. The 2012 modifications included the installation of rail seats for safe standing. History The stadium was opened on 28 July 1952, on the grounds of the former Froschberg-Brickworks. The stadium is also known as "Auf der Gugl", the name of the hill on which it is situated. The stadium hosted motorcycle speedway until the early 1970s and hosted significant speedway events including a qualifying round of the Speedway World Championship in 1961. It was used for association football matches and hosted most matches of FC Blau-Weiß Linz and the top matches of LASK Linz. Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub, commonly known as LASK (), or Linzer ASK, is an Austrian professional football club based in Upper-Austrian state capital Linz. Franz Fekete Stadion is a multipurpose stadium in Kapfenberg, Austria. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of Kapfenberger SV. The stadium was constructed in 1950, and currently holds 9,640 people. It was named in 2001 after long time Mayor Franz Fekete (1921-2009). History The opening game was played against Austria Vienna who beat the home side 8–1. The stadium held the 1994, 1995 and 1996 Austrian Supercup finals.
