2005 Ukrainian Cup Final
The 2005 Ukrainian Cup Final was a football match that took place at the NSC Olimpiyskiy on 29 May 2005. The match was the 14th Ukrainian Cup Final and it was contested by Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv. The Olympic stadium is the traditional arena for the Cup final. The game was remembered for involving the most foreign players in the Ukrainian Cup finals: out of 36 players on both teams' rosters, 28 were from outside of Ukraine. Of the starting line-ups, there were five Brazilians, four Ukrainians, four Romanians, and others. Refereeing the match was a Norwegian team of referees. 2004–05 Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup 2004–05 was the 14th annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The first game was conducted on August 4, 2004 with the game between Rava and Shakhtar Donetsk in Rava-Ruska, Lviv Region. However other sources with a reference to the Professional Football League of Ukraine state that the competition started on August 6, 2004 with game between Olkom and Dynamo Kyiv in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Traditionally the final took place in late May of the next year where the same Shakhtar yielded to Dynamo Kyiv at the Olympic Stadium 0:1. It was the last season of the format that did not involve any qualification and preliminary rounds. Oleh Husyev
Oleh Anatoliiovych Husiev ( uk, Олег Анатолійович Гусєв; born 25 April 1983) is a retired Ukrainian football midfielder who played for FC Dynamo Kyiv. He mainly played as a right midfielder or a right-back. He made over 250 Ukrainian Premier League appearances for Dynamo, winning the league three times in addition to four Ukrainian Cups and five Ukrainian Super Cups. A full international since 2003, Husiev earned over 95 caps, making him the nation's third-most capped player and fourth-highest international goalscorer of all time. Yozhef Sabo
Yozhef Yozhefovich Sabo ( uk, Йожеф Йожефович Сабо; hu, Szabó József; born 29 February 1940) is a former Ukrainian football player and football manager. He is of Hungarian background. He is baptized as a Greek-Catholic. Playing career Club Sabo began to play in 1954 for a team of Uzhhorod bread factory and his first coach was Zoltan Gyorfi ( hu, Győrfi Zoltán). Later until August 1957 he was playing as a forward for Khimik Kalush in competitions among KFK of the Ukrainian SSR. From September 1957 to May 1959 Sabo played in Class B (second tier) for Spartak Uzhhorod. Sabo made his name as a player at Dynamo Kyiv, appearing at the club from June 1959 to 1969. Miloš Ninković
Miloš Ninković ( sr-Cyrl, Милош Нинковић; born 25 December 1984) is a Serbian footballer who currently plays for A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers. Artem Volodymyrovych Milevskyi ( uk, Артем Володимирович Мілевський, be, Арцём Уладзіміравіч Мілеўскі; born 12 January 1985) is a Ukrainian former professional footballer who played as a second striker. Georgi Peev
Georgi Peev ( bg, Георги Пеев; born 11 March 1979) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a midfielder. Career A youth product of Lokomotiv Sofia he spent three seasons in the Bulgarian A Group with the first team before switching to Dynamo Kyiv, winning six major honours with the Ukrainian club. Valyantsin Byalkevich ( be, Валянцін Бялькевіч; 27 January 1973 – 1 August 2014), also referred to as Valiantsin Bialkevich, was a Belarusian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Jerko Leko (born 9 April 1980) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of the second-tier Druga HNL club Jarun. He primarily played as a central midfielder, but could also operate as a right one, or more defensively, as a right-back. Serhiy Vladyslavovych Fedorov ( uk, Сергій Владиславович Федоров, born 18 February 1975 in Kyiv) is a Ukrainian football manager and former player. He started off as a central defender, but mostly plays as a right back, or a right-sided midfielder. He subsequently started a managering career. Atanda Ayila Yussuf (born 4 November 1984) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a central defender or defensive midfielder.
