The 2005 Italy rugby union tour of Argentina and South Africa was a series of matches played in June_ 2005 in Argentina and Australia by Italy national rugby union team. Italy obtain his first victory in test-match played in Argentina against the Pumas. The Italy national rugby union team ( Italian: ''Squadra nazionale italiana di rugby'') represents Italy in men's international rugby union. The team is known as ''gli Azzurri'' (the light-blues). Gonzalo Canale (born 11 November 1982) is an Italian Argentine rugby union footballer. His usual position is in the centre or at full back. He plays for French club ASM Clermont Auvergne. Canale has also been capped for the Italy national team, and was a part of their squad at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia and the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
