The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It has four members: the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Capitol Division and acquired its current name in 1970 following the AFL-NFL merger. The NFC East is currently the only division in the league in which all four current teams have won not only at least one Super Bowl, but also at least two.
