The 2004 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament began on 7 January 2004, and is the 12th CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament. This was the 4th tournament is open to players under the age of 23 without any other restriction. There is no qualification stage and all 10 member of CONMEBOL automatic qualified. The winner and the runner-up qualified for Football at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament, 2004 Summer Olympics. Players born on or after 1 January 1981 were eligible to play in this competition. Host nation and venues On 16 July 2002, during a meeting of the CONMEBOL Executive Committee, Chile was named as the host country of the tournament at the request of the Football Federation of Chile. This decision was ratified a year later, on 7 August 2003. It was the first time that Chile hosted the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament. Sergio Darío Herrera Month (born 15 March 1981 in Barrancabermeja) is a Colombian people, Colombian Association football, football manager and former player who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He is the current assistant manager of Colombian club Deportivo Cali. Career Herrera began his career in 1999 with Alianza Petrolera, but stayed for just one season before moving to play in the Argentine Second Division with Club Almagro. However, he was soon on the move again, going back to Colombia and signing for América de Cali for the start of the 2000 Mustang Cup, which he won with América. He stayed in Cali for three seasons before moving back to the club where he had started, Alianza Petrolera, where he again stayed for only one season before he switched back to América de Cali where he had a successful season, scoring 13 goals in 22 matches. Estadio Municipal De Concepción
Estadio Alcaldesa Ester Roa Rebolledo is a multi-purpose stadium in Concepción, Chile, Concepción, Chile. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches. The stadium was built in 1962, as Estadio Regional, with an original capacity of 35,000 people. In 2015, it was completely renovated with new seats and a roof; currently has a capacity of 30,448 seats. Until 2010 it was known as Estadio Municipal de Concepción. The stadium took its new name, Ester Roa Rebolledo, who was a former Concepción city mayor. The stadium was being renovated by Spanish company COPASA, but in May 2014, after continuing delays, the contract was terminated. In September 2014 the municipality of Concepción hired Chilean company Claro Vicuña Valenzuela to finish the works. The stadium was not completed in time to host two 2015 Copa América group stage matches, which were moved to Santiago's Estadio Monumental David Arellano.
