2004 CAF Super Cup
The 2004 CAF Super Cup was the 12th CAF Super Cup, an annual football match organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competitions. The match was contested by 2003 CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba, and 2003 African Cup Winners' Cup winners, ES Sahel, at the Aba Stadium in Aba, Nigeria, on 22 February 2004. The game finished 1–0 to Enyimba, securing their first Super Cup title. Aba is a city in the southeast of Nigeria and the commercial center of Abia State. Upon the creation of Abia state in 1991, Aba was divided into two local government areas namely; Aba South and Aba North. Aba south is the main city centre and the heartbeat of Abia State, south-east Nigeria. It is located on the Aba River. Obinna Nwaneri (born 19 March 1982) is a retired Nigerian footballer who plays as centre back or right back position but can also play as a forward. Aymen Mathlouthi ( ar, أيمن المثلوثي; born 14 September 1984), also known as Balbouli, is a Tunisian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Étoile du Sahel. Regarded by pundits as the best Tunisian goalkeepers and one of the best African goalkeepers of all-time, some of his highlighted traits apart from goalkeeping, is his smooth ball control with his feet, and dribbling inside the penalty area. Onyekachi Donatus Okonkwo (born 13 May 1982 in Aba) is a Nigerian football midfielder. Club career Okonkwo was a member of Enyimba's winning side in the 2003 MTN CAF Champions League and 2004 MTN CAF Champions League finals. During his two-year stay in South Africa he was arguably one of the club's most influential players even scoring the decisive goal against his former club Enyimba to lead the Johannesburg-based club Orlando Pirates to the 2006 MTN CAF Champions League semifinals.
