The 2003 Speedway Grand Prix of Denmark was the fourth round of the 2003 Speedway Grand Prix season (the world championship). It took place on 28 June 2004 at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was the 9th time that the Speedway Grand Prix of Denmark had been held. The Grand Prix was by Australian rider Jason Crump (his 7th career Grand Prix win). Parken, currently known as Parken - Connected by 3 for sponsorship reasons, and as Telia Parken (2014–2020), is a Soccer-specific stadium, football stadium in the Indre Østerbro (''Inner Østerbro'') district of Copenhagen, Denmark, built from 1990 to 1992. Andreas Karl Rune Jonsson (born 3 September 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish former international motorcycle speedway rider. He was a member of the Sweden speedway team that won the World Cup in 2003, 2004 and 2015. He earned 26 caps for the Sweden national speedway team. Career summary Jonsson excelled at Under-21 level winning two Swedish U21 Championships in 1998 and 2000, three Scandinavian titles and the 2000 Speedway Under-21 World Championship. Karl Mikael Karlsson (born 21 August 1973), who later rode under the name Mikael Max, is a Swedish former international motorcycle speedway rider. He earned 21 caps for the Sweden national speedway team. Todd Wiltshire (born 26 September 1968 in Bankstown, New South Wales) is an Australian former motorcycle speedway rider, who competed at the highest level of the sport, finishing a career best third in the 1990 Individual Speedway World Championship at the Odsal Stadium in Bradford, England. Roman Alexandrovich Povazhny (Russian: ''Поважный, Роман Александрович''; born October 23, 1976) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider and a former champion of Russia. He earned 21 caps for the Russia national speedway team. Career Povazhny won the Russian national championship in 2001. Ronni Pedersen
Ronni Pedersen (born 6 October 1974) is a Danish former motorcycle speedway rider. He earned 6 caps for the Denmark national speedway team. Career After winning the 1992 Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship, Pedersen was signed by Peterborough Panthers to ride late in the 1993 British League Division Two season. The following season he rose to third in the Peterborough averages and in his debut season in the top tier of British speedway (the 1995 Premier League speedway season) he averaged 6.53. Pedersen missed the 1996 British season after breaking his leg while playing football. On his return to Britain he only rode a handful of matches over the following two seasons. Peter Karlsson (speedway Rider)
Peter Gunnar Karlsson (born 18 December 1969) is a Swedish former motorcycle speedway rider. He was twice Swedish champion and a three times World Cup winner. He earned 40 caps for the Sweden national speedway team. Career Karlsson first rode for Wolverhampton Wolves in Britain during the 1990 season. He won the Swedish Pairs Championship twice with brother Mikael Max, in 1992 and 1996 and was the Swedish Individual Champion in 1989 and 1991. In October 2000, during the Speedway Grand Prix Qualification he won the GP Challenge, which ensured that he claimed a permanent slot for the 2001 Grand Prix. Bohumil Brhel
Bohumil Brhel (born 10 June 1965) is a Czech former motorcycle speedway rider. He earned 10 international caps for the Czechoslovakia national speedway team and 15 caps for the Czech Republic national speedway team. Career Brhel started racing in the British leagues during the 1990 British League season, when riding for the King's Lynn Stars. He spent six season with them from 1990 to 1995. In 1996, he joined the Oxford Cheetahs from King's Lynn and was part of the four that won the Premier League Four-Team Championship, which was held on 4 August 1996, at the East of England Arena.
