2003 Houston Texans Season
The 2003 Houston Texans season was the franchise's second season in the National Football League and the second under List of Houston Texans head coaches, head coach Dom Capers. It saw the Texans make a one-game improvement on its initial season's record. In the 2003 NFL draft, NFL draft, the Texans selected wide receiver Andre Johnson from 2002 Miami Hurricanes football team, Miami (FL) third overall. Jermaine Edward Lewis (born October 16, 1974) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the fifth round (153rd overall) of the 1996 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens, who he played for until 2001. With the Ravens, he won Super Bowl XXXV over the New York Giants. Antwan Peek (born October 29, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2003 NFL draft. He played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Peek also played for the Cleveland Browns.
