2003 CONCACAF U-20 Tournament Qualifying
This article features the 2003 CONCACAF U-20 Tournament qualifying stage. Caribbean and Central American teams entered in separate tournaments. The North American teams Canada and Mexico automatically qualified, as well as main tournament hosts Panama (Central America) and the United States (North America). Eighteen Caribbean teams entered, of which two qualified and five Central American teams entered, of which two qualified. Caribbean Preliminary round Saint Lucia received a bye because Anguilla withdrew. Group stage Group A All matches were played in Suriname. Group B Montserrat withdrew in this group. Group C All matches were played in Saint Kitts and Nevis. Antigua and Barbuda were disqualified, they were supposed to be group host but were too late informing that their field was unavailable for play. 2003 CONCACAF U-20 Tournament
The 2003 CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying Tournament was held to determine the four CONCACAF entrants into the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, which was hosted in United Arab Emirates. Caribbean Football Union
The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) is the representative organization for football associations in the Caribbean. It represents 25 FIFA member nations, as well as 6 territories that are not affiliated to FIFA. The Union was established in January 1978 and its Member Associations compete in the CONCACAF region. The CFU also runs developmental competitions, including a women's and boys' and girls' Challenge Series. Central American Football Union
The Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (Central American Football Union), more commonly known by the acronym UNCAF, represents the national football teams of Central America: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its member associations are part of CONCACAF. Member associations Competitions Overview The UNCAF organize various competitions. The Copa Centroamericana was played every two years from 1991 until 2017, and usually featured the seven national teams. Costa Rica is the most successful team, winning the tournament eight times.
