2003 Bulgarian Local Elections
Local elections were held in all municipalities in Bulgaria on 26 October 2003 (first round) and on 2 November 2003 (second round). Voters elected municipal mayors, village mayors and members of municipal councils of 265 municipalities. Results BSP received roughly 33% of the vote, SDS 21%, DPS and NDSV 10%. Bulgaria, officially the Republic of Bulgaria, is a country in Southeast Europe. It is situated on the eastern portion of the Balkans directly south of the Danube river and west of the Black Sea.
