The 2002 PGA EuroPro Tour, titled as the 2002 Matchroom Sport PGA EuroPro Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the inaugural season of the PGA EuroPro Tour, one of four third-tier tours recognised by the European Tour. It was created as the merger of the EuroPro Tour and the PGA MasterCard Tour. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2002 season. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Pound sterling. The top four players on the tour (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2003 Challenge Tour. Simon John Lilly FRS is a professor in the Department of Physics at ETH Zürich. Education Lilly was educated at the University of Cambridge where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences (Physics and Theoretical Physics) in 1980. The 2003 Challenge Tour was the 15th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by Sweden's Johan Edfors. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2003 season. David Duvall Orr (born October 4, 1944) is an American Democratic politician who served as the Cook County Clerk from 1990 to 2018. Orr previously served as alderman for the 49th ward in Chicago City Council from 1979 to 1990. He briefly served as acting Mayor of Chicago from November 25 to December 2, 1987, following the death of Mayor Harold Washington. Kyron Sullivan (born 22 June 1976) is a Welsh professional golfer. Sullivan attended the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff and briefly worked as an IT analyst before deciding to attempt professional golf in 2002. He spent two years playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour and a further three on the Challenge Tour, where he won for the first time in 2006. This helped him to fifth place in the rankings, earning him a place on the European Tour for 2007. Sullivan ended his debut year 131st in the Order of Merit, just outside the players who automatically retained their cards, but he still gained entry to several events in 2008.
