2002 Four Continents Championships
The 2002 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2001–02 season. It was held at the Hwasan Indoor Ice Rink in Jeonju, South Korea on January 21–27. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The first compulsory dance was the Ravensburger Waltz and the second was the Blues. Jeonju
Jeonju (, , ) is the capital and List of cities in South Korea, largest city of North Jeolla Province, South Korea. It is both urban and rural due to the closeness of Wanju County which almost entirely surrounds Jeonju (Wanju County has many residents who work in Jeonju). Gao Song (figure Skater)
Gao Song (; born March 20, 1981) is a Chinese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2002 Four Continents bronze medalist, 2003 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, 1999 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2006 Chinese national champion. Career Gao won the silver medal at the 1998 ISU Junior Grand Prix in China. In the 1999–2000 JGP series, he qualified for the final by winning gold in Norway and placing fourth in Japan. In December 1999, he was awarded the gold medal at the JGP Final in Gdańsk, Poland, ahead of Germany's Stefan Lindemann and Canada's Fedor Andreev. Derrick Delmore (born December 12, 1978) is an American figure skater. He is the 1998 World Junior champion, the 2000 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, 2000 Karl Schäfer Memorial bronze medalist, and 1999 U.S. National Collegiate champion. Personal life Derrick Delmore was born on December 12, 1978, at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. In 1995, he was awarded the Paderewski medal for a decade of playing classical piano at the national level. is a Japanese figure skating coach and former competitor. As a single skater, he is a two-time Japanese national champion and represented Japan at the 1998 Winter Olympics, placing 17th. Roman Skorniakov
Roman Skorniakov (; born 17 February 1976) is a Russian-born figure skater who mainly represented Uzbekistan. He initially competed for Russia but switched to representing Uzbekistan in 1996. Career Skorniakov is the 1997–2003 Uzbek national champion. He represented Uzbekistan at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics, both times finishing in 19th place.
