Perry Ronquillo
Perry Ronquillo (born 1965) is a Filipino former basketball coach. He is now a school teacher in the United States. Playing career He played for De La Salle Green Archers under head coach Derrick Pumaren, and won 2 UAAP championships together with PBA future stars Jun Limpot, Dindo Pumaren, future Benilde coach Dong Vergeire, future San Miguel Beermen manager Gee Abanilla, Joey Santamaria, Terrafirma Dyip coach Johnedel Cardel, Tim Cone's brother-in-law Eddie Viaplana and future PBA assistant coach Richard del Rosario. Coaching career He coached the Ateneo Blue Eagles for 2 seasons from 1996 until 1997. After winning over Coca-Cola, 90–82 on February 17, the Turbo Chargers lost eight in a row and bowed out of contention in the Governor's Cup, they won their last game against Sta.Lucia, 95–76, on the last day of eliminations on April 21. They lost their first three assignments during the Commissioner's Cup but made it through the quarterfinal round as the 8th seeded team and were ousted by Batang Red Bull. Michael Allen Pasana Hrabak (born August 27, 1979) is a Filipino-Turkish former professional basketball player. He last played for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters of the Philippine Basketball Association. He was drafted second overall by Shell in 2001. Player Profile A 6-foot-7 forward, Hrabak is an excellent three point shooter. He is also a very excellent interior defender and a versatile scorer. Robert Adolfo Wainwright (born December 27, 1973) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player who currently serves as the assistant coach of the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Playing career Wainwright was directly hired by Sta. Lucia Realtors in 2000 from the Cebu Gems where he was a star in the Metropolitan Basketball Association. He played with the Realtors in 2000 before playing for the Shell Turbo Chargers from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, he was acquired by the Coca-Cola Tigers. After 4 years, Wainwright played for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters from 2006 to 2009. He was instrumental in transforming Rain or Shine into title contenders. The Tanduay Rhum Makers (1975–1987) and Tanduay Rhum Masters (1999–2001) were two basketball franchises associated with the same Tanduay Distillers liquor brand that played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The original franchise, owned by Elizalde & Co., Inc., was a founding member of the PBA. From 1975-1980, the team played under the name Tanduay Distillery; Tanduay ESQ and Tanduay Esquires; then as, YCO-Tanduay in 1981-1983. The final name used by the original franchise was the Tanduay Rhum Makers (1983-1987). The original franchise won a total of three PBA championships.
