2000 Tippeligaen
The 2000 Tippeligaen was the 56th completed season of top division football in Norway. Each team played 26 games with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Number thirteen and fourteen are relegated, number twelve has to play two qualification matches (home and away) against number three in the first division (where number one and two are directly promoted) for the last spot. Stadio Di Cornaredo
Cornaredo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lugano, Switzerland. It is used mostly for football matches. It is a home ground of FC Lugano. The stadium has a capacity of 6,330. During the 1954 FIFA World Cup, it hosted one game. Roar Strand
Roar Strand (born 2 February 1970) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, mostly for Rosenborg. Strand was capped 42 times for the Norway national team. He is the player with the fourth-highest number of appearances in the Norwegian top division. He has won 16 league titles, more than any other player in history and the Norwegian Football Cup five times, and he has scored goals in 21 consecutive top flight seasons. Club career Strand was born in Trondheim and played for Rosenborg his whole career, except for the 1993 season when he was loaned out to Molde FK, from he made his debut in 1989 till he retired in 2010. John Arne Riise
John Arne Semundseth Riise (born 24 September 1980) is a Norwegian former professional Association football, footballer and Manager (association football), coach. With 110 caps, Riise is the most capped player for the Norway national football team, Norway national team. He was named in the Norway squad for UEFA Euro 2000 but did not play in the tournament. Riise scored 16 goals before his retirement from international duty in 2013. He spent seven years playing for Premier League side Liverpool F.C., Liverpool, in which he won many honours, including the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final, 2004–05 UEFA Champions League, before moving to A.S. John Carew
John Alieu Carew (born 5 September 1979) is a Norwegian actor and former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was capped 91 times and scored 24 goals for the Norway national team. Club career Vålerenga Carew began his career with his local club Lørenskog, a minor club in the Akershus region. He was already considered a highly talented youngster and had gained some media attention before he was acquired by Vålerenga in 1997, and in the same year Carew was a part of the team that gained promotion to Tippeligaen and won the Norwegian Football Cup. Torkjell Andreas Lund (born 7 May 1975), known as Andreas Lund, is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a striker. Club career Lund had a successful career in Norway and scoring 55 league goals in 96 matches for IK Start and Molde FK. For the latter, he scored four goals in the 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League: the first in the second leg of the third qualifying round against Mallorca, which was the club's first away goal at the UEFA Champions League and also granted a spot at the group stage in their debut appearance and three against Olympiacos (one at Greece and two at home). Henning Berg
Henning Stille Berg (; born 1 September 1969) is a Norwegian football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Omonia. His career lasted from 1988 to 2004, most notably in the Premier League where he won titles with both Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, becoming the first player to win the Premier League with two clubs. He also played in his native land for Vålerenga and Lillestrøm before finishing his career in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers. He was capped 100 times by Norway, scoring nine goals. La Manga (), or La Manga del Mar Menor (meaning "The Sandbar of the Minor Sea") is a seaside spit (landform), spit of Mar Menor in the Region of Murcia, Spain. The strip is 21 km long and 100 metres wide (average), separating the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor (Minor Sea) lagoon, from Cabo de Palos to the Punta del Mojón. Historically, it was known by the Romans as ''Palus'' and later by the Moors as ''Al Buhayrat Al Qsarand''. In the 17th century its name changed to ''Mar Chico'', meaning "small sea" and later as El Mar Menor.
